Girl Scouts from Korea Pay a Friendship Visit to GSP

Girl Scouts Korea (GSK), Kyung Sang Nam-Do Division, composed of eight Junior Girl Scouts and two troop leaders headed by school Principal, Lee Myong Sook, stopped by the GSP National Headquarters last August 6 for a brief friendship visit — to meet fellow Girl Scouts and learn a few things about GSP and the Philippines.

Assistant National Executive Director Myra Contessa Diokno-Sarmenta, International Affairs Director Marilyn Factor and Program Division Director Ginnie Oribiana and NHQ staff warmly welcomed them.

Junior and Senior Girl Scouts from Manila Council led by their troop leader Rachelle Acosta, had the chance to talk and exchange swaps with the Girl Scouts from Korea.

A short video showing the recently concluded Overnight Camp held at Helena Z Benitez National Program and Training Center in Tagaytay City was shown to the guests to give them a glimpse of exciting Girl Scout activities in the Philippines.

It was a good visit and the GSP would be glad to have them back again.
