ASSISTANT NATIONAL EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

FOR HUMAN RESOURCES & ADMINISTRATION

(ANED for HR & Admin.)

The position is responsible in providing primary support in the administrative aspects of the organization, areas of training/organization development, employee relations and rewards and performance management.  Plans, develops, implements, and evaluates special projects related to the HR function. Provides analysis and recommendations to management to improve efficiency as it relates to employee and management development.

Basic qualifications:

  • Female
  • Preferably graduate of BS Psychology/ Behavioral Science / Human Resource Management / M.A. in Administration or its equivalent
  • Must have minimum 3 years of solid experience in administration/management, recruitment and benefits administration a must
  • Must be familiar in all facets of Human Resources such as recruitment, labor laws, employee relations, training & development, etc.
  • Strong understanding in management and administration issues including: communication; personnel; budgeting; planning; legal issues and policies; information systems.
  • Creativity in developing solutions to management challenges, and is able to quickly develop comprehensive/systematic solutions to these challenges
  • Creative thinker and problem-solver who is able to manage multiple tasks or initiatives
  • Analytical, and able to recognize patterns and identify trends necessary to recommend HR solutions
  • Highly dependable, persevering, service oriented and able to relate well with people
  • Must have minimum 3 years of solid experience in Girl Scouting
  • Must be organized, dynamic, matured and  self-driven individual
  • Can work under pressure & willing to work long hours
  • Excellent in oral and written communication
  • Proficient with PC and software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, etc.

 

ASSISTANT NATIONAL EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

FOR PROGRAM

(ANED for Program)

The position is responsible in providing primary support in the planning, development and implementation of the Girl Scout programs, adult training, and girl/adult membership aspects of the organization. Provides analysis and recommendations to management to improve efficiency as it relates to Girl Scout programs, adult trainings/development, and membership concerns.

 

Basic qualifications:

  • Female
  • Preferably graduate of BS Psychology/ Behavioral Science / Sociology / Education M.A. in Social Science or its equivalent
  • Must have minimum 3 years of solid experience in Girl Scouting
  • Must be familiar in all facets of Girl Scout programs (8-Point Challenge), WAGGGS Program Initiatives, GSP National Training and Development Scheme, and Membership concerns
  • Strong understanding in management and administration issues including: communication; program implementation, adult training and development, and membership financial concerns and recruitment/retention
  • Creativity in developing solutions to program/training/membership challenges, and is able to quickly develop comprehensive/systematic solutions to these challenges.
  • Creative thinker and problem-solver who is able to manage multiple tasks or initiatives
  • Analytical, and able to recognize patterns and identify trends necessary to recommend solutions

Basic qualifications:

  • University degree, preferably with MA units or postgraduate studies
  • General :  At least three (3) years in managerial capacity
  • Specialization: At least three (3) years experience in Girl Scouting
  • Knowledgeable of the Girl Scout Program, strong leadership and managerial skills, results oriented, innovative, very good oral and written communication skills, computer literate

 

General Duties:

  • Responsible for the implementation of the National Plan of Work and supervision in the application of the Girl Scout development of objectives, principles and policies to both the regional and council levels.

 

 

 

TECHNICAL ASSISTANT FOR FINANCE

(National Headquarters)

Basic qualifications:

  • Graduate of B.S. Accountancy (CPA License is an advantage)
  • Male/Female
  • Good analytical skills and attention to details
    • Can work under pressure and with minimal supervision
    • Work experience is an advantage but not a requirement
    • Preferably with Girl Scouting/Scouting (for male) background
    • Very good written and oral communications skills
    • Proficiency on MS Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word, etc.)
    • Willing to travel

 

General Duties:

  • Assists the Finance Director in the monitoring and implementation of finance policies and procedures, bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, and prepares accounting schedules/reports.

 

 

C L E R K (Office of the Internal Auditor)

Basic qualifications:

  • Graduate of B.S. Accountancy (CPA License is an advantage)
  • Female
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Can work under pressure and with minimal supervision
  • Preferably with work experience as a Bookkeeper
  • Good in written and oral communications
  • Proficiency on MS Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.)
